SEDC Boss, Ogbede Lays Mother To Rest
The family of late Chief Augustine Emenyonu Ogbede of Umuekwune Obiangwu, Ngor Okpala LGA has announced that the burial date of their martriach, Lolo Regina Nnenna Ogbede is December, 18, 2025.
The late Regina Nnenna Ogbede, aged 85, was the mother of a seasoned politician cum administrator who is currently, the Executive Director, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Rural Development in the Southeast Development Commission, SEDC, Dr Cliff Ogbede.
A woman of honour, disciplinarian and educationist of the Obiangwu dynasty, Ngor Okpala LGA, Lolo Regina Ogbede contributed immensely in the training of not just her children but wards of her immediate community.
All roads will lead to Umuekwune Obiangwu on December 18, as Lolo Regina Nnenna Ogbede will be laid to rest.
The funeral Mass is at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Obiangwu by 11am, while interment follows immediately at Chief Ogbede’s compound.
Expected at the funeral are top government functionaries, led by the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, serving and former National Assembly members from Imo state and beyond, top executives in the Southeast Development Commission, captains of industries, traditional rulers, leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC amongst others.
