Company Donates Pharmaceuticals To Imo Police
The Imo State Police Command on Wednesday received a consignment of pharmaceutical supplies from Patricklingo Pharmaceutical Company Limited, with the aim of bolstering healthcare support for its personnel.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Chief Onwuelingo Patrick Uchechukwu, made the donation during a ceremony held at the police headquarters in Owerri.
Chief Uchechukwu articulated that this contribution underscores a strong commitment to supporting officers who place their lives and health at risk in the line of duty.
He emphasized that the initiative seeks to enhance the capacity of the Police Medical Department and improve access to essential medications.
The donated items include cartons of Babatem, Rellxtra (both gel and tablets), Babadol, Baba, Chakapain, Babafam, and Lopramax, which are intended to address the healthcare needs of the officers and personnel of the Command.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police for the Imo State Command, CP Audu Garba Bosso, expressed gratitude for this gesture.
He characterized the support as both timely and impactful, acknowledging that it will significantly enhance the health, morale, and operational effectiveness of the personnel.
The Commissioner of Police assured that the Medical Department would oversee the proper distribution and utilization of the supplies at no cost to the officers, while reaffirming the Command’s dedication to the welfare of its personnel.
The Command encourages other well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate this initiative, as collective support is crucial in strengthening policing efforts and ensuring public safety throughout Imo State.
