Okenze Nkwoji Celebrates 70th Birthday With Thanksgiving Service
On Sunday, December 21, 2025, all paths will converge at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in the Egbelu Obube Community, located within the Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
This significant gathering will mark a thanksgiving service in honour of Okenze Dr. George Nkwoji’s 70th birthday anniversary.
Okenze Nkwoji, who serves as the Traditional Prime Minister (TPM) of the community, is expressing gratitude to God for His unwavering faithfulness in preserving his life and health throughout these seventy years.
Furthermore, Okenze Nkwoji and his family are expressing their gratitude to God for the successful wedding ceremony of their son, Chinasa Ihekwoaba, to Eniola, as well as the successful surgery on their daughter, Engineer Mrs. Iheoma Nwaekpe.
It is indeed a triple celebration for the Nkwoji family. Okenze Nkwoji, who holds the traditional title of Eturugo, attributes all his successes to God, whom he believes anointed him from his mother’s womb and has continued to guide his path throughout his life.
Life has also presented challenges to Eturugo, who experienced a traumatic event several years ago when he was abducted by miscreants and subjected to severe torment.
He revealed that the ordeal at the hands of his abductors necessitated brain surgery being performed on him at a hospital in Lagos.
Okenze George Nkwoji is a water engineer and the publisher of the Nigeria Moment Newspaper, based in Owerri, Imo State.
