A statement dated July 12, 2026, and jointly signed by Prince Izunna Obiefula JP, President of the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, and Comrade Achi Nnamdi, Chairman of the Legislative Performance Assessment Committee, emphasized that this report will serve as a significant reference for democratic accountability within the zone.

The Orluzurumee Youth Assembly stated, “The assessment we present today is not an act of political hostility or a tool for persecution and political propaganda. Rather, it is a constructive civic initiative aimed at strengthening democracy through objective performance evaluation.

“Consequently, this report has been prepared impartially, devoid of political bias and personal animosity. It reflects the voice of our community and our collective aspiration for improved governance. History will remember this day not merely for the scores announced, but because the people of Orlu zone have collectively asserted that public office is a sacred trust and that accountability remains the cornerstone of democratic leadership.

“We have meticulously received, reviewed, and unanimously adopted the report of the Legislative Performance Assessment Committee as the official stance of our organization.

“Our vision is to foster an Orlu zone where legislators actively engage with their constituents, communicate their legislative activities, attract development projects, empower youth and women, uphold transparency, and provide effective oversight in the public interest.

“We extend our congratulations to those whose performance has garnered commendation and encourage them to maintain and enhance their achievements. Simultaneously, we urge those whose performance has not met public expectations to view this report as a constructive invitation to deepen their engagement with constituents, enhance legislative visibility, expand empowerment initiatives, and embrace greater transparency and accountability.”
