Sir Apostle Ceejay Henry Ezebuiro
Sir Apostle Ceejay Henry Ezebuiro hails from the Ndiuche Izuogu Community in the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State. He is an accomplished international businessman, currently serving as the Managing Director of Mobility Plus, a company specializing in the sale of mobility equipment for healthcare facilities.
As a distinguished Knight of the Order of St. Christopher within the Anglican Communion, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Administration and Management.
Sir Ezebuiro is happily married to Dr. Stephanie Amarachi, a United States trained medical doctor from Nkwerre in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State. Their marriage is blessed with three sons and one girl.
He is the founder of the Sir Ceejay Henry Ezebuiro Empowerment Foundation, which plays a pivotal role in the educational advancement of the Ndiuche Community. The foundation covers the registration fees for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for students attending Our Saviour’s Technical Secondary School, Ndiuche Izuogu, which is operated by the Anglican Diocese of Ideato.
Holding the traditional title of Aku Izuogu, Sir Ezebuiro initially provided meals for the students during school hours five days a week and subsequently extended his support to include the payment of WASSCE registration fees. He has consistently funded these initiatives for the past decade. Additionally, he constructed a science laboratory block at the college, dedicating it to his parents.
Annually, Sir Ezebuiro allocates N50 million to the foundation to support students’ WASSCE registration fees. The foundation also assists graduates from the college who gain admission to tertiary institutions but lack the financial means to cover their educational expenses. Furthermore, it supports graduates wishing to pursue vocational training instead of formal education.
During festive seasons, Sir Ezebuiro undertakes road grading in the Ndiuche Izuogu Community to facilitate smooth access for villagers, particularly returnee indigenes.
In an interview with National Newsbreak on December 31, 2023, the United States-based businessman emphasized that his efforts are aimed at fostering development within the Ndiuche Izuogu Community and cultivating catalysts for positive societal change.
He has proposed the establishment of a hospital, which he is collaborating with his wife to build initially in Ndiuche Izuogu and subsequently in other communities within Imo State. The hospital will provide free treatment to patients, a condition stipulated by his wife prior to her involvement in the project. The facility will feature 25 beds and a clinic.
