Reps Member Chike Okafor Felicitates Uzodimma, APC On Successful Congresses
Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, member representing Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Chairman, Committee on Nutrition and National Food Security, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, on the successful completion of the Ward, Local Government Area (LGA), and State congresses of the party.
Hon. Okafor commended the smooth, credible, and peaceful conduct of the congresses, noting that the success recorded will usher in a new lease of life for the rulling party in the State,
He stated that the succes will further provide a peaceful and harmonious political and civil environment to enable the Governor to take development to the remotest parts of Imo State.
He further noted that Senator Uzodimma’s directive ensured that all classes and strata of the party were duly accommodated and elected into various party positions from women and youths to special citizens.
While thanking the Governor for his magnanimity and leadership during the congresses, Hon. Okafor urged delegates and party faithful to prepare for the National Convention, emphasizing the need for unity, focus, and strong grassroots mobilisation ahead of the next stage of party activities.
He also wished delegates a safe journey to Abuja for the convention, and prayed that the outing would be successful for all.
Hon. Okafor equally expressed appreciation to his party men and women from Ehime Mbano,Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Local Government Areas for demonstrating the true spirit of committed party faithful throughout the congress period.
He assured them that he will continue to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach the nooks and crannies of the constituency.
Hon. Chike Okafor congratulated the 27 LGA party chairmen, particularly Mr. Austin Iwuoha, Mr. Innocent Chibundu, and Mr. Anthony Osuagwu of Ehime Mbano, ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Local Government Areas on their emergence as chairmen of the APC in their various LGAs.
He urged them to remain focused and committed to their responsibilities, stressing the importance of growing party membership and strengthening the party at the grassroots.
