Imo CP Danjuma Tasks Cadets On Professionalism
Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, has called upon the 27 newly graduated cadet officers assigned to the command to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and diligence in performing their duties.
CP Danjuma issued this directive on January 8, 2026, upon welcoming the cadets in Owerri.
These officers are part of the 7th Regular Course of the Nigerian Police Academy and were recently commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
All officers are natives of Imo State, deployed in accordance with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police to enhance community policing and strengthen police-community relations.
They are scheduled to undergo a one-year attachment across various departments to gain practical field experience.
The cohort includes ASP Madu Praise, ASP Maduagwu Kingsley, ASP Nwokedi Perpetual, ASP Uzoagba Ejiro Chioma, among others.
CP Danjuma underscored the importance of professionalism, discipline, integrity, and humane policing.
He encouraged them to view their assignment as a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety and security of Imo State while upholding the core values, ethics, and standards of the Nigeria Police Force.
ASP Madu Tobechi Praise, representing the officers, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for the warm welcome and assured him of their steadfast commitment to duty and service to the residents of Imo State.
