Everything Has Collapsed In Nigeria, Says Obi

Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed deep concern regarding the current state of Nigeria’s economy.

During a town hall meeting held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Obi lamented the significant deterioration observed across various sectors in the country.

He remarked, “As of 1959, Nigeria’s National Shipping Line owned six vessels; by 1961, this number had increased to eight. However, today, there are no vessels in operation.

“I read in the newspaper today that Emirates Airlines commenced operations in 1985 with two leased aircraft. At that time, Nigeria possessed over 20 aircraft. Today, Emirates Airlines boasts a fleet of over 280 aircraft, while Nigeria’s fleet stands at zero.

“If an individual is critically ill in Nigeria and seeks treatment at a hospital, there is a considerable risk of ending up in the morgue. This is why many Nigerians prefer to take ill individuals to churches rather than hospitals.”
