Deeper Life Ministry Set For Citywide Crusade, Free Medical Outreach
The Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Imo South, has finalized plans for a five-day citywide crusade and free medical outreach program in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
Titled ‘Great Redemption, Recovery, and Restoration through Jesus Christ,’ the event is scheduled to take place from November 12 to November 16, 2025, at Owerri City Primary School, Wetheral Road, opposite the Imo State Stadium.
During a press briefing in Owerri, Pastor Emmanuel Okoro, the State Overseer of the ministry, stated that the crusade aims to restore hope, heal the broken-hearted, and bring total redemption to attendees.
The ministry seeks to address both spiritual and physical needs through a combination of gospel preaching and free medical care.
Pastor Okoro noted that the programme would leverage the experience gained from previous outreaches, where the ministry has preached the gospel and brought salvation to people across various local governments.
With over 40 years of ministry experience, Pastor Okoro emphasized that the forthcoming crusade would focus not only on salvation but also on community welfare through the provision of free healthcare services.
A team of professional doctors, nurses, and medical specialists will provide general health check-ups, screenings, medical consultations, and free medications throughout the duration of the crusade.
The programme will feature anointed messages, prayers, and worship sessions by gospel artiste Israel Anyaele, as well as daily Lunch Hour with Jesus sessions and evening revival services.
The event is open to all residents of Imo State and neighbouring areas, with free transportation provided for participants from outside Owerri Municipal.
Adequate security arrangements have been put in place.
Describing the crusade as both a spiritual and humanitarian intervention, Pastor Okoro expressed confidence in God’s faithfulness, citing Psalm 107:20, which states,
‘He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.’
The event will culminate in a special citywide Sunday devotional service on November 16, 2025, which will be a day of thanksgiving and testimonies of divine healing and restoration.
