Immigration Comptroller Bows Out After 32 Years

The Comptroller of Immigration Anambra state Command, Mr Godwin Ndubuisi Nzeribe has retired after 32 years of meritorious service to the nation.

The Command organized a retirement ceremony for him which attracted government officials, Police, Friends and well wishers as well as other paramilitary organizations in Anambra state.

Speaking on the occasion, the Anambra state Commissioner of Police Mr Ikioye Orutugu noted that it was not easy for one to serve from the lower cadre and reach the top as Comptroller and prayed God to sustain him as he bows out of service.

The representative of the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Deputy Commandant Ukaobi Prominence doffed her hat to the retiring Comptroller of Immigration.

She described him as a humble man who maintained synergy with the NSCDC Anambra state.

The wife of the retiring Comptroller, Mrs Juliet Nzeribe thanked God for guiding her husband all these years and ensured that he retired meritoriously.

His second daughter, Miss Nmesoma Godwin congratulated her father for serving the public very well and wished him well in his future endeavours.

In his remarks, the out going Comptroller of Immigration Anambra state, Mr Nzeribe expressed gratitude to God for a successful career and for the grace to retire meritoriously in good health and sound mind.

Mr Nzeribe encouraged the officers and men who served under him to rededicate themselves to the service for them to excel.

He prayed God preserve and grant them promotions at the right time.
