No Court Nullified APP Congresses-Njesi
The Action Peoples Party (APP) has issued a clarification stating that no Federal High Court in Gusau, Zamfara State, under the jurisdiction of Justice Hamza Mohammed, has nullified any congresses conducted by the party on a national scale.
In a formal statement released to National Newsbreak on Thursday, Honourable Ernest Njesi, the Chairman of the APP Imo State chapter, addressed this matter.
He characterized the claim as a blatant falsehood and a baseless rumor of the 21st Century that lacks credibility.
“The APP Imo State chapter firmly refutes this claim, having conducted a thorough investigation that revealed no judgment or ex parte order has been issued by any court in Zamfara State,” Njesi stated.
He further emphasized, “It is crucial to clarify that no court within the Federal Republic of Nigeria has nullified the APP Congresses nationwide, including those of the Imo State chapter, nor has the APP been deregistered.”
Njesi accused the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in Imo State of orchestrating this misinformation campaign against the APP.
He urged the public to disregard such falsehoods and assured that the party would take all necessary measures to mobilize and educate the electorate in Imo State to vote out what he described as the “inept and ineffective government at Douglas House, Owerri, in the upcoming 2027 elections.”
