Ex-NUJ Chairman, Akaraonye Buries Mother on December 27
The remains of Late Mrs Justina Adaeze Akaraonye will be buried on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her hometown Umuelealambra Obodo Amaimo Community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
Her son, Chief Chris Akaraonye, former Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Imo State Council disclosed this in a statement made available to National Newsbreak.
The statement further disclosed that her body would leave Chetakwa Mortuary for a brief stopover at Amukwa Umuri Amaimo before being conveyed to her hometown for lying in state and a Christian open-air funeral service.
The statement added that interment and entertainment of guests follow thereafter.
