SYS Posts 26 Apprentices To Firms For 12-Month Training Programme
Steady Your Shot Skill Training and Development Initiative (SYSSTDI) has assigned 26 individuals to participate in a one-year apprenticeship programme in companies in Imo State.
A formal send-off ceremony was conducted on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the corporate office of Photo Box Studios, situated on Okigwe Road, Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
In his address to the prospective apprentices, Bugus Chukuezi, the Convener of Steady Your Shot Skill Training and Development Initiative advised them to maintain exemplary behaviour throughout their hands-on training period.
Mr. Chukuezi emphasized to the mentees that their conduct and performance during the one-year apprenticeship programme would pave the way for other interested individuals to partake in the programme.
He expressed gratitude to the partnering companies for making the programme completely free.
Representatives from two partnering organizations, including Martin Obioha of SleekBlue Media, Mr. Chukwunyere Orji and Mr. Nkem Daniel Osinachi of Billion Craft Limited urged the prospective apprentices to adopt a strategic approach akin to that of an assassin, ensuring they do not miss their targets.
They advised the mentees to establish targets that are both measurable and achievable, necessitating their unwavering dedication to achieving these goals.
The mentees also expressed their aspirations and determination to excel in their chosen fields.
The prospective apprentices predominantly selected companies related to media and photography.
SYS partnering companies include Photo Box Studios, Sleekblue Media, Dikachi Pauline Media Hub, and Pamtech Group.
Others are Billion Craft Limited, Joseph’s Pot, Fotato Kitchen, Cold Hubs, Imo Digital City, Scepter Graphics, and Elion Phones.
Skills on offer range from tailoring, fashion, culinary, graphics designs, Forex trading, photography, videography, video editing, content creation, screen and light technology, live streaming, to auto-mechanic.
