Ndaa Paddy Obinna Goes Home On August 19

The funeral ceremony for the late Ndaa Paddy Obinna is scheduled to occur on August 1, 2026, in his hometown of Umuocham Emekuku, located in the Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.

Ndaa Paddy Obinna, an esteemed art collector and educator, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, following a surgical procedure.

Professor Vitalis Orikeze Ajumbe, the Coordinator, referenced the deceased’s son, who has approved the burial arrangements.

The late Ndaa Paddy Obinna was the elder brother of Archbishop Anthony Valentine John Obinna, the immediate past Archbishop of the Owerri Catholic Archdiocese.

He also served as an Advisor to the Imo State Government on Arts and Culture during the administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
