Guber Hopeful, Chima Amadi Unfolds ‘SEE’ Agenda
.TMO Inaugurates Board, Central Working Committee
The Mazi Organization (TMO), the campaign structure supporting the 2027 governorship candidate in Imo State, Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, inaugurated its board of trustees, Central Working Committee (CWC), and Local Government Council coordinators on Tuesday.
This event took place in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, and was officiated by the Director-General, Chief Henry Onwukwe.
In his welcome address, Chief Onwukwe emphasized the importance of these structures as the foundational elements of the organization.
He described the inauguration as a pivotal moment and conveyed to the appointees that their roles entail both honor and responsibility.
He encouraged them to remain committed to the primary objective of electing Dr. Chima Amadi as the next governor of Imo State in 2027.
Dr. Chima Amadi, in his address, commended the appointees, referring to them as ambassadors tasked with conveying the organization’s vision for a renewed Imo State to the grassroots level.
He introduced his SEE slogan, which proposes addressing the state’s challenges through the SEE strategy: enhancing Security, reviving the Economy, and revitalizing public Education.
Dr. Amadi expressed appreciation for the current state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for maintaining safety and peace during the recent holiday season and for establishing the Orashi Power Station.
While acknowledging the government’s achievements, he pledged to improve areas where the government has not performed satisfactorily.
He advocated for state-driven development initiatives rather than relying solely on local and foreign investors.
Dr. Amadi said he is committed to revitalizing 20 percent of state-owned enterprises upon assuming office, aiming to stimulate the state’s development.
He asserted that by reviving these enterprises and creating employment opportunities for the youth, crime would become less appealing, thereby enhancing security and the overall well-being of the citizens.
Dr. Amadi also expressed concern over the deterioration of public schools, which has led to the proliferation of expensive, makeshift private schools.
He vowed to restore the public school system, offering free education to ensure that more children in Imo receive quality education.
The gubernatorial aspirant advised the citizens of Imo to register in large numbers with the Action People’s Party (APP).
He assured the populace that the votes cast in his favour would be safeguarded and transmitted appropriately. Furthermore, he stated that any presiding officer who fails to comply would not be permitted to leave the polling station.
He added that his team would ensure follow-up to the collation centres and the venue for the announcement of the election results.
