EGOGA Elects New Executive
The Egbu Girls Old Girls Association (EGOGA) has elected a new executive committee to manage its operations for the forthcoming three-year term.
The election took place during the EGOGA 3rd Global Reunion, which was held from December 18 to 21, 2025, at the Anglican Cathedral (ASCATH) in Egbu, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
The elected officials include Sis Daisy Sams-Uchegbu Eke as Global President; Sis Ndidi Njoku Albert-Oguara as Global Vice President 1; and Ijeoma Agim Odoemenam as Global Vice President 2.
Others are Ugonma Okoronkwo Cokey as Global Secretary; Sis Nkeiruka Egere as Global Assistant Secretary; Sis Kachi Azuike Chris-Ebochuo as Global Financial Secretary; Sis Chinaka Mogaha as Global Treasurer; Sis Christy Okoro Okolocha as Global Public Relations Officer; Sis Elsie Unanka Omotuyole as Welfare Officer; and Sis Ijeoma Egbuine Enekwa as Ex-Officio.
The newly elected executive was formally inaugurated on Sunday following a thanksgiving service at ASCATH Egbu during the reunion.
In her remarks during the reunion, Dr. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, a distinguished member and former First Lady of Ondo State, praised the smooth and harmonious transition as a testament to the association’s maturity, unity, and institutional sustainability.
She expressed optimism that the reunion heralded promising developments for EGOGA in the future.
The former First Lady committed her support to the new Global President and her team as they endeavor to elevate EGOGA to greater achievements.
