Confirming Omokri Is Endorsing Tinubu As A Drug Lord-OYC
The Ohanaeze Youth Council has urged the Senate Committee on Ambassadorial Nominees to reject the ambassadorial nomination of Mr. Reno Omokri, describing his nomination as a national embarrassment that could ridicule Nigeria internationally.
Speaking to newsmen on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Abuja, the National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, Igboayaka O Igboayaka, insisted that Mr. Reno Omokri lacks the necessary coordination to represent Nigeria internationally.
The Council noted that Mr. Reno Omokri is a well-known blatherskite, a gasbag, or a whiffler who has disgraced himself in Nigeria’s political landscape to satisfy his paymaster; Therefore, appointing him an ambassador to represent Nigeria is already an international shame and disgrace.
The Council recalled that on December 17, 2022, Mr. Reno Omokri stated: “If anybody can get close enough to Bola Tinubu to take a sample of his hair or urine, this election will be over! Because with his hair or urine sample, a laboratory can analyze if he still takes drugs and what type of drugs he takes. Tinubu is a KNOWN DRUG LORD who belongs to jail, not Aso Rock! I went to Chicago by myself and obtained verified court documents. It will be a shame if this man goes anywhere close to Aso Rock. A nation with a drug lord president is a nation whose international passport is automatically suspect.”
“If Reno Omokri is allowed to represent Nigeria internationally, he will be considered a constituted authority, and his statements can be cited as verified facts by a constituted authority,” Igboayaka stated.
He added, “Therefore, the Senate confirming Reno Omokri’s ambassadorial nomination is confirming his statement that Bola Tinubu is a ‘KNOWN DRUG LORD.’ It now means one can quote , according to the Ambassador of Nigeria to the country Reno Omokri is designated , ‘BOLA TINUBU IS KNOWN DRUG LORD.’ Some can cite , according to the Nigerian Ambassador, President Bola Tinubu is a ‘KNOWN DRUG LORD.'”
