APC Has Strayed From Foundational Objectives -Madumere

Prince Ezeakonobi Madumere has articulated his concerns regarding the current state of the All Progressives Congress (APC), suggesting that the party has lost its direction and strayed from its foundational objectives.

He asserts that the APC no longer rewards loyalty nor does it prioritize the advancement of Nigerian society.

Consequently, Prince Madumere informed that he has decided to leave the APC and affiliate himself with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a party whose ideas, philosophy, and direction resonate with his political aspirations and ideology.

In his statement, Prince Madumere however expressed his gratitude to the APC for the opportunities it provided him to serve the populace, particularly during his tenure as the Deputy Governor of Imo State from 2013 to 2019.

He commended the PDP as a platform committed to genuine transformation and progress, highlighting its respect for grassroots sentiments and its provision of credible and stable alternatives for both the states and Nigeria during its time in power.

Prince Madumere assured his supporters that his transition from the APC to the PDP would be advantageous for their collective welfare.

He emphasized his commitment to collaborating with like-minded individuals within the PDP to restore democratic rights, promote youth empowerment and innovation, and ensure transparent governance.
