AIG, Kanayo Uzuegbu Dies
Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 9, Umuahia Abia State Kanayo Uzuegbu has sadly passed away.
AIG Uzuegbu, who hailed from Njaba Local Government Area in Imo State, reportedly succumbed to cancer.
Meanwhile, the Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has expressed its deepest condolences to the Inspector-General of Police, the officers and members of the Nigeria Police Force, particularly those stationed at Zone 9 Headquarters in Umuahia and the Abia State Police Command, on the loss of AIG Kanayo Uzuegbu.
RULAAC shared its profound sorrow upon receiving the news of AIG Uzuegbu’s passing after his struggle with cancer.
His death is regarded as a significant loss not only to the Nigeria Police Force but also to all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him during his esteemed career in public service.
AIG Uzuegbu served his nation with unwavering dedication, commitment, and professionalism. Throughout his tenure in the Nigeria Police Force, he made substantial contributions to the maintenance of law and order and the advancement of public safety.
RULAAC acknowledged that Uzuegbu’s passing has left a void within the Force and among his colleagues and associates.
The organization offered prayers for the eternal rest of AIG Kanayo Uzuegbu’s soul and for God to provide strength, comfort, and fortitude to his family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones as they cope with this irreplaceable loss.
