Amadi: 2027 Is Time To Sack APC Govt In Imo
Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, an aspirant for the 2027 governorship election in Imo State, has urged the populace to prepare to remove the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration from power in the state.
Dr. Amadi made this appeal on New Year’s Day when he officially announced his candidacy for the governorship election on the platform of the Action People’s Party (APP).
He stated, “The time has come to present the APC government with a Red Card in 2027! A Red Card for insecurity, a Red Card for poverty, a Red Card for deceit, a Red Card for corruption and waste, and a Red Card for a deteriorated public life.”
Dr. Amadi expressed regret that Imo State is currently subjected to ridicule due to poor governance by the APC.
He contended that the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma has consistently misled the people under the guise of governance.
According to Dr. Amadi, the level of deception has escalated to the extent that the public is presented with images, slogans, and commissioned signboards while genuine issues persist across various sectors within the state.
Dr. Amadi voiced concern over the increasing incidents of insecurity, which have resulted in businesses closing down and communities remaining vigilant throughout the night.
He asserted that a government incapable of safeguarding life and property has failed in its fundamental responsibility.
He called on the residents of the state to unite in support of him and his party in order to reclaim the state.
