Three Suspects In Robbery Case Admit Affiliation With Vikings

Three individuals apprehended in relation to a robbery incident along Naze-Nekede-Ihiagwa-Obinze Road in Imo State have admitted to being members of the Vikings Confraternity, police authorities have said.

The state police command identified the suspects as Stanley Nwachukwu (26), Moses Okezie (28), and Gabriel Confidence (26).

Additionally, the command reported that the suspects have been transferred to its Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) and have confirmed their affiliation with the Vikings Confraternity.

According to the command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye, information provided by the suspects has led to the arrest of four additional individuals: Emeka Oguike (28), Gideon Kadiri (21), Nnodim David (21), and Kingsley Okwara (22).

Okoye further disclosed that law enforcement agents recovered from the suspects one cut-size English-made single-barrel gun, one locally made revolver pistol, one locally made single-barrel gun, and four rounds of live cartridges.

He stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend other suspected members who remain at large.
