Publishers Hail Uzodimma For Developmental Strides, Salary Increment
The Imo Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) has praised Senator Hope Uzodimma’s administration for its developmental achievements and salary increments for workers.
In a statement released in Owerri, the Imo State capital, the association commended Governor Uzodimma for reconstructing roads in Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe.
They applauded the government’s recent salary increase for state civil service workers, which has positioned Imo workers as the highest paid nationwide.
However, the publishers requested the governor to include workers who were excluded from the pay increase.
Furthermore, they urged Governor Uzodimma to prioritize road maintenance in rural areas, which are currently in a state of disrepair.
The association described themselves as partners in progress and encouraged the governor to maintain his commitment to enhancing the welfare and well-being of Imo citizens.
