House Of Reps Member Dibiagwu Donates Luxury Vehicles To DGs, Others

Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, representing the Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, on Friday, February 27, 2026, officially presented five luxury vehicles to the Director General (DG) and Deputy DG of his campaign organization, as well as to three local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the federal constituency.

The handover ceremony took place at the premises of his private company in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

The Director General received a fully-equipped Toyota Highlander Jeep, while the Deputy DG and the three APC chairmen from the council areas were each presented with brand-new Toyota Corolla cars.

During the ceremony, Hon. Dibiagwu stated that these gifts fulfilled one of his primary campaign promises.

He acknowledged the recipients for their support in advancing “Project Dibiagwu 2023,” which successfully secured his party’s nomination and election to the National Assembly.

He encouraged others awaiting their rewards and benefits to remain hopeful.

The beneficiaries and attendees expressed their gratitude and appreciation for his generosity.

The Director General, Hon. Oguchienti Nwabueze expressed thanks to the federal lawmaker for his generosity.

Oguchienti, a Commissioner in Governor Hope Uzodimma’s cabinet, remarked that no former representative of the federal constituency could match Hon. Dibiagwu’s empowerment of constituents.

This sentiment was echoed by Hon. Gilbert Chidozie Nwosu, member representing the Oguta State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly; Hon. Goddy Esom Obodo, a former member for the Ohaji/Egbema Constituency; APC Chairman of the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, Hon. Obioma Obasi; Hon. Ikenna Adikibe, Chairman of Oru West Local Government Area; and Mrs. Ify Obi, a Commissioner in the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC).

The consensus among them was that previous representatives of the federal constituency falsely claimed that Abuja offered no democratic dividends for distribution to the people.

They also observed that Hon. Dibiagwu merits a second term in the House of Representatives, having set a high standard that future successors would find challenging to match, let alone surpass.

It is worth noting that Honorable Dibiagwu recently distributed 10,000 palm seedlings and provided empowerment to 33 youths across the 33 wards within his constituency by granting them Keke buses.

Additionally, he sponsored a N50 million football tournament, with Mgbidi Ward 2 emerging as the winner.

Furthermore, he distributed 180 sewing machines, over 150 grinding machines, and allocated N500,000 to each of 100 constituents.
