Chike Okafor Hails Re-nomination Of Shettima As Presidential Running Mate

Rt. Hon. Chike John Okafor, the representative for Ehime Mbano/Ihitte-Uboma/IObowo Federal Constituency of Imo State in the House of Representatives, has extended his congratulations to Vice President Kashim Shettima on his re-nomination as the running mate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Hon. Okafor commended Shettima’s exemplary leadership qualities, asserting that these attributes must have contributed to his re-nomination.

He noted that through his close collaboration with the Vice President as the Chairman of the House Committee on Nutrition and Food Security, he has recognized Shettima as an individual of considerable intelligence, warmth, and steadiness.

The lawmaker further highlighted additional qualities he admires in the Vice President, including his disciplined nature, unwavering loyalty to Tinubu, focus on achieving results rather than seeking applause, and dedication to advancing the National Policy on Food and Nutrition Intervention Strategies in the country.

Hon. Okafor expressed his appreciation to the Vice President, who serves as the Chairman of the National Council on Nutrition, for the opportunity to participate as a member of the N774 high-level strategic Board.

He concluded by expressing his hope that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket will secure victory in the upcoming presidential election.
