Catholic Archdiocese Confers Nneoma Titles On Victoria Nwosu, Two Others

The Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, under the spiritual guidance of Archbishop Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji, has conferred the Nneoma title on Nneoma Victoria Nwosu.
This recognition is a testament to her exemplary service and unwavering dedication to the Church and her community, which have earned her profound respect both within her parish and beyond.
The honour was bestowed during the Owerri Archdiocesan Catholic Women Organization (CWO) Day, observed on November 15, 2025.
A representative of the Catholic Women Organization officiated the decoration ceremony on behalf of the Archdiocesan leadership.
This year’s event showcased honourees selected from all parishes within the Owerri Archdiocese, with three exceptional women chosen from each parish for their significant contributions to the Church, society, and humanity.
Among the three distinguished individuals from St. Andrew’s Catholic Parish, Umuokanne, Ohaji-Egbema, Nneoma Victoria Nwosu was recognized for her long-standing service and unwavering dedication.
Since 2002, she has served as the Financial Secretary of St. Andrew’s Parish, maintaining this role for 23 years—a remarkable tenure characterized by transparency, discipline, and steadfast commitment.
Furthermore, she has been serving as the Treasurer of the CWO in St. Andrew’s Parish since 2022, as well as the Treasurer of the Umuokanne Women’s Wing since 2022, significantly contributing to the stability and advancement of women-led initiatives within the community.
Her family is also renowned for their active and consistent support of parish life, with her children participating in and advocating for programmes and activities that promote unity, faith, and spiritual growth within the community.
Additionally honoured were Lolo Harriet Onyeaghala, acknowledged for raising children who are steadfast supporters of the Church, and Nneoma Benedict Chikere, mother of the sole Reverend Father from the Umuokanne extraction.
The recognition accorded to these three individuals underscores the Archdiocese’s commitment to celebrating women who exemplify Christian virtues, devotion, and leadership.
The ceremony attracted parishioners, CWO members, and well-wishers from across the Archdiocese, all gathered to pay tribute to women whose lives continue to inspire and strengthen the faith community.
