‎Imo Police Rescue Kidnap Victim In Forest

Operatives of the Imo State Command on Saturday June 27, 2026 successfully rescued Chinonaobi Uchegbulam, an injured kidnapping victim, from the hideout of his captors.

This successful rescue was the result of an intelligence-driven forest clearance operation conducted across several communities in the Owerri West Local Government Area of the state.

The operation was led by the state Commissioner of Police, Audu Garba Bosso, in collaboration with local vigilante groups.

The spokesperson for the command, Henry Okoye, revealed that the victim is currently receiving medical treatment at a healthcare facility.
