Ezebuiro Emerges NDC Candidate For Ideato Fed. Constituency
Sir Henry Ceejay Ezebuiro, an esteemed international businessman and philanthropist, has been selected as the candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to contest for the House of Representatives seat in the Ideato Federal Constituency.
Hailing from the Ndiuche Izuogu Community in the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Sir Ezebuiro was declared the victor of the party’s primary election, which took place in the council area on Saturday, May 30.
In a conversation with our correspondent, Sir Ezebuiro expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the party executives, supporters, and members for nominating him to contest in the 2027 election. He assured the people of the Ideato Federal Constituency of a result-oriented and dynamic representation in the National Assembly.
He pledged to uphold the trust and confidence placed in him by the people.
Sir Ezebuiro has made significant positive contributions to the lives of individuals within the constituency. He has personally funded the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) for students at Our Saviour Secondary School Ndiuche since 2012, constructed a laboratory for the school, and initiated a free feeding program, a concept he pioneered even before the federal government considered such an initiative.
Furthermore, Sir Ezebuiro provides scholarships for tertiary education to students from underprivileged backgrounds within the community.
Ezebuiro is set to compete against Honorable Imo Ugochinyere, the current representative of the Ideato Federal Constituency and candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP), as well as Ms. Sandra Anyama of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
