Abians Bash Kalu For Conspiring To Sack Otti

Residents of Abia State have expressed strong criticism towards Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for allegedly financing a meeting of former governors with the intention of removing the current Governor, Alex Otti, in 2027.

Senator Kalu, who serves as the representative for Abia North, announced this meeting on his social media platform, which led to a surge of critical comments directed at him and his associates.

Many of these comments came from individuals who are natives of Abia State, who labeled him as one of the adversaries of the state.

They argued that Senator Kalu, along with other former governors such as Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji and Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, should be prohibited from participating in the state’s political affairs.

The consensus among the residents is that Governor Otti has demonstrated exceptional performance and therefore merits a second term.

However, one individual expressed support for Senator Kalu’s decision to vote for President Bola Tinubu and his retention of the Abia North Senate seat, but advised him to refrain from any involvement with the Government House in Umuahia unless Governor Otti decides to join the APC.
