Uzodimma Suspends Ucheoma, Imo Housing Corporation MD
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has approved the suspension of the Managing Director of the Imo State Housing Corporation (IMSHC), Barr. Raymond Ucheoma.
The suspension is occurring one year after his appointment to the position.
The suspension of Mr. Ucheoma, effective June 2, 2026, was conveyed to him via a letter from the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmas Iwu.
The letter stated that the suspension takes immediate effect.
According to the letter, Mr. Ucheoma has been instructed to relinquish all government property in his possession to the Secretary of the Corporation or the most senior officer in the IMSHC by the close of work on “Tuesday, June 2, 2026.”
Mr. Ucheoma, a lawyer and the immediate past Head of Service of Imo State, was appointed as the Managing Director of the IMSHC in May 2025.
