Tinubu Inaugurates Uzodinma’s Signature Projects in Imo

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu embarked on a one-day working visit to Imo State, where he attended the public presentation of a book authored by the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
During this visit, President Tinubu also inaugurated several key projects executed by Governor Uzodimma.
The 375-page book, titled “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria,” examines the influence of APC governance in the nation since it assumed power in 2015.
The book analyzes the challenges and accomplishments recorded by the party over the past decade under APC leadership.
While acknowledging that the party may not have excelled in every sector of the economy, it offers hope for improved outcomes in the future.
Additionally, President Ahmed Tinubu commissioned several newly constructed infrastructures, including the flyover at Assumpta/Control Post, the ultra-modern Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre at Warehouse Roundabout, and the Owerri-Umuahia Road, all completed under Governor Uzodimma’s administration.
President Tinubu expressed his satisfaction with the projects and commended Governor Uzodimma for documenting the achievements of the APC, making them accessible to party members and the Nigerian populace.
He described the book as a product of genuine thought, grounded in truth and reality.
President Tinubu also highlighted the significant appreciation of Nigeria’s foreign reserves since the start of his administration, noting that states no longer need to borrow funds to pay their workers.
He emphasized that the decisions of his administration are made with the best interests of Nigerians in mind.
In his address, the Chief Host and Chairman of the Progressives Governor’s Forum, Governor Uzodimma, dedicated the book to the APC and Nigerians in general, attributing his recent infrastructural successes in the state to President Tinubu.
He assured the President of the support of Imo residents for the realization of his second term as President in 2027.
A key highlight of the event was the unveiling and presentation of the book by Alhaji Rabiu Isyaku Rabiu, Chairman of IRS Group of Companies.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, Ministers of the Federal Republic, members of the National Assembly, past and present members of the Imo State House of Assembly, traditional rulers, and notable religious leaders.
Additionally, members of the APC National Working Committee and the APC state chairmen from all 36 states of the country were present.
