Publicist Shares Life Experiences Of Ok2000

Chief John Enyogasi, popularly known as Ok2000, was orphaned at 18 months and was nursed by a woman sacrificed to the Ediabali god, according to his publicist, Ifeanyi Maduako.

Ok2000 holds the chieftaincy title of Okpara Okigwe and was raised by the woman in Umulowe Okwe Community in Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State.

Maduako revealed that at 5, Okpara Okigwe was forced into child labour as a babysitter.

At 10, he decided to fend for himself and migrated to Kano by train, where he secured employment at the United African Company, UAC as a carpenter.

Ok2000 later established his own company, built his first house in Sabon Gari Kano, and returned to the South East after the Nigeria-Biafra war to establish Okigwe Construction Company.

The company has executed contracts for federal and state governments, as well as private individuals.

Ok2000 is also a philanthropist, having donated £2000 in the 70s, earning him the nickname from Chief Samuel Onunaka Mbakwe.
