Police Extend Invitation To NDC National Secretary For Allegation of Fraudulent Activities
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has issued a letter of invitation to Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, the National Secretary of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), concerning allegations of defrauding several individuals aspiring for various elective political positions on the platform of the party.
Additionally, Mrs. Halimat Adenike Tejwosho, identified as Enekweizu’s associate, has also been invited for questioning.
The letter, dated August 6, 2026, and signed by DCP Ibrahim Jibrin, indicates that both Enekweizu and Tejwosho are prominently involved in an ongoing investigation related to allegations of criminal conspiracy, trespass, and intimidation.
National Newsbreak has reported that multiple petitions have been filed against the two individuals.
Mrs. Tejwosho is accused of misappropriating a substantial amount of $35,000 from several aspirants, while Mr. Enekweizu is reported to have recently acquired a mansion valued at approximately N400 million, in addition to purchasing several luxury vehicles.
