OK2000 Pleads With Uzodimma To Tar Village Road

Elder statesman, Chief J. S. Enyogasi (known as Okpara Okigwe), has expressed commendation for Governor Hope Uzodimma, regarding his recent initiative to award contracts for the rehabilitation of rural roads across the three senatorial zones within the state.

Okpara Okigwe, a notable figure in the movement for the creation of the former Imo State in 1976, has conveyed his satisfaction with the manner in which the current state administration, under the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodimma, is advancing the state’s progress.

Okpara Okigwe, popularly known as Ok2000 expressed appreciation for the governor’s prominent role in national affairs, which has elevated the state’s status to admirable level.

He remarked, “Governor Hope Uzodimma is aware of my support for him, and I consistently commend him to encourage his continued excellence in governance.”

“He has made significant achievements, notably with the recent awarding of contracts for rural road rehabilitation in the state. However, I humbly request that he extends this rehabilitation effort to my own community, Okwe, in the Onuimo Local Government Area. The roads leading to my community are in deplorable condition, which has prevented me from visiting for several months due to their poor state. During my last visit, my vehicle became stuck for several hours, and it was only through the intervention of the local youth that it was freed from the gully-like roads. I earnestly appeal to Onwa Onyoko to remember my community,” he concluded.
