NYCN Lauds Imo CP for Banning Unlawful Phone Searches
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imo State Chapter, has commended the state Commissioner of Police CP Aboki Danjuma for banning unlawful searching of phones, extortion , harassment and other human rights violations by officers and men of the command.
Chairman of the state NYCN, Humphrey Osuji described the ban as a welcome development that will further strengthen the cordial relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the youths in Imo State.
He emphasized that the Imo youths did not make a mistake when they conferred the title of “Icon of Imo Youths” on CP Aboki Danjuma.
Osuji further assured the Commissioner of Police that the youths of Imo State, and Imolites at large, will continue to celebrate and support his people-oriented leadership in ensuring justice, fairness, and the protection of citizens’ rights.
