Imo Commissioner, Anunobi Undergoes Prostrate Surgery

Chief Rex Anunobi, the Imo State Commissioner for Trade, Commerce, and Investment, has successfully undergone prostate surgery at the Robotic-Assisted Surgery Centre located within the Imo Specialist Hospital in Umuguma, Owerri West Local Government Area.
Chief Anunobi shared this update via a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday.
The surgical procedure was conducted by a team led by Professor Kingsley Ekwueme.
Chief Anunobi expressed his gratitude to God for the successful operation, to state Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for addressing the healthcare needs of Imo State residents, and to his family for their prayers and support.
In the meantime, numerous netizens including former Secretary to the Imo State Government, Sir Jude Ejiogu have inundated his timeline with messages wishing him a swift recovery.
The robotic centre established in partnership with the Imo State Government commenced operations in August this year.
