The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has formally affiliated himself with the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing his commitment to transforming the state’s political environment.
The registration ceremony was conducted at TY Danjuma House on Sunday in Jalingo, with representatives from both the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) present.
Governor Kefas remarked that his initial intention to complete the process was postponed in solidarity with the abducted schoolchildren in Kebbi and other victims of insecurity in the nation.
He mentioned that a new date for the ceremony will be announced in the near future.
The governor was presented with his APC membership card by Hon. Umaru Tanko, Chairman of APC Hospital Ward, Wukari Local Government Area.
He conveyed his gratitude to his APC ward chairman in Wukari and the Taraba State chairman for their support and facilitation of his membership.
“I extend my sincere commendations to my APC ward chairman in Wukari and the Taraba State chairman for this opportunity. I appreciate the warm welcome extended by the executives and members of the APC in Taraba State,” he stated.
