Ex-Immigration Comptroller Dies 15 Days After Retirement
Former Comptroller of Immigration for the Anambra State Command, Mr. Godwin Ndubuisi Nzeribe, has reportedly passed away 15 days after his official retirement from the Service.
Mr. Nzeribe, who hailed from the Ihube Community in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, formally concluded his service in a colourful ceremony on October 24, 2025.
A family source revealed that Mr. Nzeribe passed away while preparing for his retirement thanksgiving service.
According to the source, he experienced feverish symptoms on Friday evening, was admitted to the hospital, and unfortunately passed away by Sunday.
The late Mr. Nzeribe, a 1990 graduate in Philosophy from Cross River State in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, dedicated 32 years of service to the Immigration Service.
