Abacha: What Adultery Can’t Do, Doesn’t Exist
By: SONDHI AIGBE
Finally, the real account of the last moment of General Sani Abacha, former Nigeria’s head of state between 1993 and 1998 has been given.
Mr. Dennis Amachree, a former assistant director of the Department of State Security DSS revealed in his book that General Abacha died of cardiac arrest while having a sexual liaison with the sister of his girlfriend at Aso Rocks Guest House.
According to Amachree, the then Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces had bought an SUV for his girlfriend who visited Aso Rocks to express her gratitude to the general.
After the thanksgiving interaction, she left the presidential palace for Nico Nuga Hilton Hotel leaving behind her pharmacist sister with the general. While having sex with the pharmacist, the general stopped moving resulting in the terrified girl hurriedly bolting from the guest house, and dashing to NICON NUGA Hotel, Abuja to meet her elder sister.
This happened at about 4:05AM on the fateful day and by 7:00AM, the pharmacist was already airborne to Lagos. Amachree quoted the pharmacist as saying when he interrogated her thus;”I didn’t kill him. “He died on top of me”.
Clearly, adultery had claimed another victim. Is there anything too difficult for adultery to do? A man, who was feared by many, a man who attempted transmuting from a military ruler to a civilian president after beating five political parties into line to pick him as their sole candidate, had been felled by adultery.
Amachree’s account has successfully debunked all conspiracy theories woven round the sudden demise of General Sani Abacha. Shortly after his death, the populace was told he died in the hands of Indian prostitutes who fed him with poisoned apples.
Major Al-Mustapha who was his CSO told the nation, that his principal took ill shortly after shaking hands with an unnamed foreign dignitary and later passed away.
Had the general fled from adultery, perhaps he would have been alive today or at least he wouldn’t have passed away through the birth canal he triumphantly entered the world.
Women have presented themselves as the weakness of men. Hardly can you see a man who stands his ground in the face of a seductress. King Solomon married about 300 women with about same number as concubines. His father, King David killed a general in his army to enable him covet his wife. It was the access which Sampson had in-between Delilah’s legs that spurred him to reveal the seat of his strength and was destroyed.
In our own society, states and Local government councils are known to have been created to satiate female lovers. In the present day, party tickets which men pay fortunes to obtain, and some kill in their bid for the tickets are in some places handed over to women, who didn’t bid for them, on a platter. In one of the states, a lady is today a House of Representatives ticket holder in spite of not purchasing any nomination or expression of interest form for the position.
What the women give in return is to satisfy the men who give these tickets on bed. Though there is no statistics to authenticate it, the fact remains that most women who occupy the high rungs of the corporate ladders ‘slept’ their way through.
Oh who will save the wretched men from the poisoned arrows of the daughters of Eve? Unfortunately, the world as presently constituted have few Joseph of the Bible days. Joseph fled yet still landed in prison. His latter life was however glorious, much to the dismay of Potifah’s wife.
Adultery, where is thou string where the Josephs are? You could only succeed where the Abachas stand.
