I’m Not A Member Of APC PCC-Amadi
Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, the Senatorial candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) for the Imo East District, has explicitly stated that he is not a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
This clarification was prompted by numerous inquiries directed at his campaign organization, The Mazi Organization (TMO), regarding his potential association with an individual named Chima Amadi who has been appointed to the APC PCC.
He asserted, “For the avoidance of doubt, the Chima Amadi referenced in the APC publication is not Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi. The two names pertain to distinct individuals.”
“Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi was neither nominated nor appointed to the APC Presidential Campaign Council and has no affiliation whatsoever with the council or the position of Deputy Director, Labour Union.”
Mazi Gburugburu as he is fondly called further emphasized that he is not a member of the APC, noting that his party, APP, has its own presidential candidate.
In a statement issued by Cajetan Duke, Chief Press Secretary, the candidate urged the public to disregard any reports linking him to membership of the APC PCC.
