.Says Law Banning Public Preaching Is Stupid

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt Rivers State has declared that all efforts to Islamize Nigeria will not succeed.

Preaching on Sunday, Pastor Ibiyeomie stated that instead of becoming an Islamic state, the country will disintegrate.

He urged those seeking islamization to congregate in their own part of the country while the Christians stay in their own part.

He vowed that he cannot become a Moslem in the South South, adding that he cannot also be alive to watch anybody disgrace Jesus Christ.

He lashed out at the members of the National Assembly for enacting the law prohibiting the preaching of the gospel in commuter vehicles.
He characterized the law as a stupid one that must not see the light of the day, wondering where the lawmakers kept their brains while enacting this piece of stupid legislation.

“If you want peace, just allow Christians be like you have allowed Muslims be”, he counseled.

Pastor Ibiyeomie accused some of his fellow clerics of tribalism for keeping mute in the face of hardship foisted on Nigerians by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu government.

According to him, some of the clerics staged protest rallies during the administration of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan when things were not as bad as they are now under Tinubu.

He also alleged that some of his colleagues have received bribes from the government to look the other way while things continue to go awry.
Pastor Ibiyeomie said he could boldly say his mind because nobody has bribed or could bribe him.
