Eze Agunwah’s Mental Acuity Remains Intact, CONA Insists
Professor Chinedu Asinu-Asinobi, Special Adviser for Publicity and Special Duties, has strongly criticized those calling for the suspension of His Royal Highness Eze Nze Francis Elendu Agunwah, the traditional ruler of the Obazu Mbieri Community in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
The calls for suspension are based on claims of the monarch’s alleged incapacitation and residence abroad.
Professor Asinu-Asinobi who is widely known by the moniker CONA asserted that Eze Agunwah is in good health and possesses sound judgment.
He highlighted that the monarch was present in the Obazu Mbieri Community last January, where he addressed community stakeholders, an event that would not have been possible if Eze Agunwah were incapacitated or lacking in judgment.
Furthermore, Professor Asinu-Asinobi accused Chief Iheanyi Abaekwume of leading the effort to suspend the traditional ruler.
He cautioned Abaekwume, reminding him that those with their own issues should refrain from casting judgment.
He also pointed out that Abaekwume was among those sanctioned for mismanaging the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) during his tenure as General Manager under Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s administration.
