Group Urges Oil Bunkerers To Steer Clear Of Imo
General Aluta, the leader of the Niger Delta Liberators Volunteer Force, has cautioned individuals involved in oil bunkering and pipeline vandalism to cease their illicit operations in Ohaji-Egbema and Oguta Local Government Areas of Imo State.
In a press release issued to National Newsbreak, General Aluta lamented the persistent environmental degradation and lack of development projects in the region.
He urged the local populace to strive for economic empowerment, job creation, environmental sustainability, and enhanced food security.
General Aluta advised those engaged in oil bunkering and vandalism to discontinue these activities and instead explore agricultural and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Furthermore, he appealed to stakeholders, government agencies, and oil companies operating in the area to support the community by providing training, resources, and investing in development projects that promote environmental sustainability.
