Olariche Age Grade Inducts Guber Hopeful, Charles Orie

On Christmas Day, members of the Olariche Age Grade, a distinguished traditional group comprising individuals of the same age bracket from Owerri in Imo State, inducted Chief Charles Orie as a member.

The vibrant ceremony took place at the expansive residence of Chief Orie in the Umuokanne Community, located within the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state.

Age grades in Igboland are traditional collectives that contribute to community development projects.

The Olariche Age Grade commended Chief Orie for maintaining strong relationships with his peers since his youth.

The group noted that Chief Orie’s time abroad did not impede his active participation in their activities.

They praised his support for numerous members of the age grade.

The Olariche Age Grade pledged their unwavering support for Chief Charles Orie.

“We are the Olariche Age Grade of Owerri, and Honorable Chief Charles Orie is one of us. We stand with him and will continue to do so,” the members stated in unison.

In response, Chief Charles Orie, who holds the traditional title of Akuatuegwu pledged his loyalty and commitment to the group and the people of Owerri.

The induction event was part of the celebrations marking Chief Orie’s 60th birthday anniversary.
