Nzewuji, Ex-SA For Electronic Media Buries Mother
The funeral ceremony for the late Dame Rose Akakemere Nzewuji is planned for December 29, 2025, at Umuorii Uratta, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to a statement by her son, Dr. Ebere Nzewuji, who formerly served as the Special Assistant for Electronic Media to former Governor Rochas Okorocha, the interment will be preceded by a sing song at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) in Owerri on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Additional events scheduled prior to the interment include a service of songs and a wake on December 28, 2025, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, MCC/Uratta Road, Uratta, Owerri North LGA.
Furthermore, a funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Uratta before the burial on December 29.
Dame Rose Akakemere Nzewuji passed away at the age of 90.
