The remains of Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha, mother of former governor of Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha will be buried at her family compound in Mbutu Community, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the state on Friday, June 16,2023.
Chief Ihedioha, in a statement disclosed that the interment of his mother’s body would be preceded by a service of songs in her honour at St. James Anglican Church, Abuja on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
The statement added that another service of songs in her honour would also hold on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Ihedioha’s family compound in Aronta, Mbutu Mbaise Community.
The statement further disclosed that the funeral service would hold at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Mbutu Mbaise, Imo State on Friday, June 16 before the interment.
Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha died on April 20, 2023 at the age of 90.
