PDP Expels House of Reps Member, 4 Others

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ngor Okpala chapter has expelled the member representing Aboh MBaise/Ngor/Okpala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Bede Eke over alleged anti-party activities.

The party also expelled Kizitto Onuoha, State Assistant Secretary (Owerri Zone), Morrison Njoku, Ngor Okpala PDP Chairman, Christopher Onyeka, LGA Vice Chairman and Ifeanyi Nwaiwu, LGA Secretary.

Their expulsion was part of the resolutions reached at a meeting of members of the local government area expanded executive held on April 27, 2023.

The resolution reads; The LGA Executive Committee has expelled the above party chieftains sequel to the reports of the Disciplinary Committee set up to investigate the allegations against them which confirmed that they openly declared for another political party (APC) which is against the constitution of our party, 2017 as amended and the appropriate sanction of expulsion has been meted out at them.

“The resolution will also be forwarded to the State Executive Committee of our party for necessary action.

“The LGA Executive Committee advises all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of our party across the LGA to remain united and focused on the mission of our party to recover, redirect our dear state and make Imo safe again”.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the party in Ngor Okpala has warned erring members to desist from working against PDP while still a member of the party and vowed to invoke necessary disciplinary action against defaulters.
