The Commissioner for Transport, Imo State, Chief Rex C. Anunobi, has rated high the performance of Senator Hope Uzodimma, positing that the achievements of the governor have guaranteed his re-election this year.
Anunobi stated this on Tuesday while playing host to the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM), led by the Special Adviser on Youths, Eric Uwakwe in his office in Owerri.
He enjoined the youths to mobilize Imolites especially at the grassroots ahead of the re-election of the governor on November 11, 2023.
While promising to lend his support to the convention of the SPYM, the Nkwerre-born politician advised the youths to redirect much of their activities to the local government, ward and mostly at the polling units.
He added that the superlative performance and youth-centered empowerment programmes of Gov Uzodimma have made easier their job of galvanizing Imolites to support the governor’s re-election bid.
The commissioner promised to mobilise his colleagues in the State Executive Council (SEC) to support the project.
He also enjoined them to synergize with all the commissioners and other appointees of the Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Earlier, the SA Youths to the Govenor, Eric Uwakwe, said the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM), has supported and promoted the governor’s goodwork cum infrastructural revolution for the past two years.
He extolled the political sagacity and administrative acumen of the Commisioner, and appealed that he guides and provides them with political direction into achieving their overring mandate.
