The Correspondent of Television Continental (TVC) in Imo State, Uba Prince escaped death by whiskers on Saturday when he was ambushed by armed bandits.

The incident occurred along the Ogbaku-Izombe Road in Oguta Local Government Area of the state while he was driving to his hometown, Ejemekwuru Community.

Our correspondent gathered that the journalist’s Totyota Corolla car was riddled with bullets.

Prince expressed gratitude to God for saving his life at the hands of the bandits.

He said;”Armed bandits just attacked me along Ogbaku-Izombe Road in Oguta Local Government Area while I was driving to my home town, Ejemekwuru Community.

“I was driving in myToyota Corolla car. I was driving alone to my community Ejemekwuru when the attack occurred.

“They laid ambush with highly sophisticated guns. My car is riddled with bullets. God saved me”.

The spokesman for the police in the state, Henry Okoye was yet to respond to enquiries on the attack before press time.
