Imo Gov Appoints Onyeneke SA On ISOA

A former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, Fidel Onyeneke has been appointed a Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor on Imo State Orientation Agency.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued in Owerri at the weekend, by the State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

Emelumba said the appointment is with immediate effect.

Onyeneke is a public affairs analyst and a former national trustee of the NUJ.

A broadcast journalist with vast experience, Onyeneke had training from within and outside the country.

He worked as a senior editorial staff of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Radio Benue, Makurdi among other notable media outfits.

 Onyeneke has also served as a member of the boards of Imo State Orientation Agency (ISOA) and Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC).

The media practitioner has equally worked as a Special Assistant on Media Matters to the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede where he currently works as a lecturer.

He is also a fellow and member of many professional associations including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)
