Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has lost in Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku’s polling unit in Taraba State.
In the Saturday February 25 presidential and senatorial elections, in Kofar Sarki polling unit, Peter Obi of the Labour Party LP, polled 211 votes against Atiku Abubakar who scored 65 votes.
Similarly, candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu polled 37 votes
Meanwhile, Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of the Taraba South Senatorial candidate on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, polled 196 to defeat his opponent Danjuma Danji who got 108 votes.
At the time of filing in this report, voting is continuing on Sunday in polling units in some wards in Taraba State owing to the fact that election materials arrived late on Saturday.
